A 50% deposit will hold a purchase for 5 days once a purchase and sales agreement have been signed. This agreement can be mailed or emailed to you at your request. The horse will be posted as pending once the deposit and agreement have been received although will still be offficially for sale and will continue to be promoted as such. If the horse is not retrieved within the 5 day grace period, he will be placed back on the sales roster and your deposit will be forfeited unless other arrangements were made previously.  If you are mailing your deposit and another party purchases the horse before your deposit is received, it will be returned to you promptly.  We do not hold horses.  The horse will not be promoted at this time.  You may naturally also pay in full.  Either of these deposits or payments are non-refundable unless the horse is found to be unsound or in the unfortunate event that the horse expires. You have 5 days from the date of sale, to have the horse vet checked for soundness, before the horse leaves our property.  If you choose not to do so, the desposits and/or sale is considered valid. If within the 5 day period, the horse has not been retrieved and the balance not received, the horse will be placed back on our sales roster unless other arrangements have been previously agreed to. If you made a deposit and the balance is sent in after the 5 day period but the horse has not been retrieved, boarding rates of $8.00 per day shall begin accruing for each day over the 5 days grace period. The boarding balance must then be paid upon retrieval of the horse. If you live within a 20 mile radius of Camelot Wilderness Ranch, we will deliver the horse for you free of charge.

If the purchase is of a foal in utero or while the foal is still nursing, a 75% deposit is required and the foal will be listed as Sold during the duration of the remaining weaning time.  The foal will not be promoted. You also have a 5 day grace period to have the foal vet checked from the time of payment  or deposit or birth.   Foals are generally weaned between 4-6 months depending on the health and condition of the mare.   Once the foal is weaned, the balance must be received  within one week. Boarding rates will begin accruing at the rate above after 5 days,  until the foal is retrieved.   If no attempt has been made within 30 days to retrieve the foal, your payment will be forfeited and the foal will be placed back on our sales roster and will be promoted and sold. If the foal becomes injured or killed due to natural occurences before you retrieve your foal, your money will be refunded.    Personal checks will be accepted but the horse may not be removed until the check clears which takes about 3 days.  While being processed, the horse is moved to our sold roster and will not be promoted.  The 5 day grace period begins on the date that the check was received.  Money orders may be utlized to speed the process.
