Rosie, as we call her is an Amber Champagne meaning she is a bay horse with a champagne gene. Her pedigree traces all the way back to the famous Golden Lady of 1910 who was the first registered TWH that has been proven to be an authentic champagne.
The International Champagne Horse Registry considers her to be a foundation champagne for this breed due to that fact. Golden Lady is the Granddam of Trigger Jr., Roy Roger's beloved horse. She is currently shown in western pleasure and has the sweetest little rocking horse canter and unbelieveable headshake. Everyone always wants to ride Rosie! She is so eager to please. Foaled in July of 2001, she is a big gal standing at 16+ hands and look at that chiseled head! Her pedigree includes Midnight Sun and Sun's Delight D. top and bottom. Amber is naturally gaited barefoot even though she is young.
